You need to register as a health care service firm if you are employing individuals to provide health care, personal care, or companion services in the personal residence of a person with a disability or is age 60 or older.

Before renting out a one- or two-unit residential property, you must register as a landlord with your local clerk. You need to register each time you rent out a new property. You also need to give your tenant(s) a copy of the completed application form.

If you plan to rent out your property for 60 days or less, you may need to register the property as a short-term rental with your municipal clerk. This requirement also applies to properties rented through websites like Airbnb or Vrbo.

If your restaurant is serving anything that could cause a safety concern, such as raw food, you must complete food safety management certification training with your local government's department of health. You can find food safety manager training programs on the State of New Jersey's website.

P and S endorsements are only added to a CDL upon request and require that drivers take additional knowledge and skills tests.

Employers must do a background check on all potential school bus drivers. Only drivers with clean records can legally drive a school bus. School bus drivers need a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsement before they can legally drive a school bus. The licensing process has two parts: knowledge test and skills test.

Your school transportation vehicles need to be inspected by the Motor Vehicle Commission’s School Bus Inspection Unit before obtaining registration and S1 or S2 license plates.

Once registered, all school transportation vehicles must be inspected twice a year.
